Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit only. There is no Mac or Linux version.

- Needed once to activate your licence key (a PC without internet can be activated with a file from your account) and to download the installer. After that, only for optional features you start yourself.
- Administrator rights
- Not needed: the installer installs for the current user by default. Installing for all users asks for administrator permission.
Being confirmedMemory guidance will be confirmed on a modest reference PC (4 cores, 8 GB) before launch. Current measurements were made on a fast development computer and are not published as performance claims.

Optional internet features
Pagewright needs the internet once, to activate your licence key; after that it works without a connection. A few optional features connect only when you start them.
- Downloading an extra OCR language (only after you click Download and confirm; the file is checked against a published checksum)
- Adding a trusted time stamp to a certificate signature (off by default; you enter the server yourself)
- Checking for updates (off by default; no update channel is configured yet)
- Converting Office files to PDF uses Microsoft Office installed on your computer (no internet)
